CALL FOR ABSTRACTS AND EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR PATHRED CONGRESS 2025

Johannesburg, 14 March 2025 – The Scientific Committee of the Pathology Research and Development Congress (PathReD2025) is pleased to announce the official opening of abstract submissions and early bird registration for this year’s foremost meeting of professionals in pathology and laboratory medicine.

The hybrid Congress, which will have both onsite and virtual attendance options, is scheduled to take place from October 2 to October 5, 2025. It will be held at the Emperors Palace Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. The overarching theme of the Congress is “Enriching Health Through Research”, with a specific focus on “Bridging the Gap: Pathology in Resource-Limited Settings”. This theme underscores the urgent need to address healthcare disparities, strengthen diagnostic services, and advance pathology and laboratory medicine in environments where resources are often constrained.

Call for Abstracts

Researchers, clinicians, pathology, laboratory medicine and public health professionals  are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for oral or poster presentations at the Congress. This is an opportunity to showcase groundbreaking research, innovative diagnostic techniques, and impactful case studies that contribute to advancing pathology in diverse healthcare settings.
