Dr Lufuno Raliphada

Dr Lufuno Raliphada is the Chief Strategy and Public Relations Officer. He is a highly accomplished strategic leader with extensive experience in strategy development, policy formulation, stakeholder management, and organisational transformation. He has a strong track record of driving business performance and aligning strategy with regulatory and operational requirements.

Previously, he held several senior roles within Transnet, including Executive Manager in the Office of the Chief Executive at Transnet National Ports Authority and Executive Manager in the Group Strategy Office. His career also includes leadership positions in the public sector, where he contributed to ICT governance, public policy development, and regulatory oversight.

Prior joining the NHLS, he was General Manager: Corporate Services at Transnet Port Terminals, where he was instrumental in leading strategy execution, business planning, performance monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives. His appointment marks a significant step in strengthening our strategic capability and advancing our long-term organisational objectives.
