The NHLS Training Department was established in March 2007. It is headed by a National Training Manager who is based at Sandringham. The Regional Training Managers service the four regions viz. Central, Northern, KwaZulu-Natal and Coastal regions.
The department functions in collaboration with the Human Resources Department to ensure the provision of ongoing skills development for all staff in accordance with the National Skills Development Plan.
